The Scientific Review Group (SRG) is established under Article 17 of Council Regulation 338/97 on the protection of species of wild fauna and flora by regulating trade therein and examines scientific questions relating to the application of this Regulation.
(Formulates opinions in relation to imports into the EU; gives advices to amend Annexes B to D; co-ordination, exchange of views, other scientific tasks)
