European Commission Expert Groups

Expert groups influence European Union legislation and policy

Expert groups are set up by the European Commission to help it with the preparation of legislative proposals, policy initiatives, and delegated acts, and also to help it with the implementation of existing EU legislation, programmes and policies.

Expert groups can have individuals, organisations, and national authorities as members.

Browsing the official register of expert groups is very difficult, as the EU have hidden it behind a search form on their website. Even Google has not been able to index it, so you don’t see the register in Google search results.
